Last night after a quick dinner of Easy Mac and hot dogs (sans bun), Casey and I headed to the library to get her some reading materials for today's trip to Savannah. Casey has suddenly become very interested in Japanese culture (they are learning about it in Social Studies). On Friday she plans to dress in that style, for no real reason other than she feels like it (um... I'm not sure what she owns that would work, but okay). Casey missed the bus this morning, so I had to take an hour to leave work, pick her up, sign her in to school late and then come back. I can't be mad at her though, because she was sobbing when she called me. Apparently she'd forgotten her flute, ran back home to get it, and then just as she got back the bus was pulling away.
